A genie who reverses the usual bargain
Most lamp stories hinge on what the hero asks for. In the Your Wish Is My Command Candy AI Short, the hook is what he refuses. A handyman with no money opens a billionaire's safe and finds a gold lamp. The jinniyah inside offers him anything, and each time he turns her down, she grows keener to deliver.
The wife in the doorway
A cliffhanger sits on top of the premise. The billionaire's wife walks in at the worst moment and sees what the handyman is holding, which turns a private fantasy into a problem with a witness. That is a good comic setup: a poor man, a magical object and a very expensive house.
The label is Candy Original, and the tone looks like fairy-tale mischief rather than realism. It suits viewers who like fantasy premises with an inverted twist, and who enjoy a lead who resists temptation until it becomes unreasonable. If you want grounded drama, the genie will be a distraction.
Cost: 2 free, 3 paid
The first two of five episodes are free. The other three are priced at 12 tokens apiece, so the whole series costs 36 tokens at the listed rate. Candy can change that rate, so check the series page.
The inverted wish structure also works as a pacing device. Each refusal raises the pressure, so the series can escalate without the hero ever giving in. By the time the wife appears, the handyman has presumably been holding out for a while, and that long resistance is what makes her entrance land as a complication.
Other detours from the everyday
My Billionaire Boss stays in a wealthy man's orbit but keeps both feet on the ground. I Picked Up a Hitchhiker offers an easygoing, openly fantastical road story, and She's Not Real stretches the fantasy label into a game. The rest are on the Candy AI Shorts hub.
